Meet Dr. Bateman

Scott N. Bateman, MD is a board certified otolaryngologist (ear, nose & throat specialist) who has been serving the Sheridan, Wyoming area since 1995.

He consults with patients at his clinic near the YMCA and performs procedures and operations at both the Sheridan Surgical Center and Sheridan Memorial Hospital, where he maintains privileges.

He attended medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Sciences Center, where he graduated in 1990. During his senior year, he was the recipient of the G. Richard Holt Leadership Award, for demonstrating “the highest standards of moral, ethical and professional character to stand as a role model for fellow students.”

Following a one-year internship at the Bexar County and Audie Murphy V.A. Memorial Hospitals in South Texas, Dr. Bateman trained for an additional four years with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Bateman was the Chief Resident otolaryngologist during the final year of his training.

In 1995 Dr. Bateman settled in Sheridan, Wyoming with his family, establishing Sheridan Ear, Nose & Throat. He is also the co-founder of Sheridan Surgical Center, which opened its doors in 2005. Dr. Bateman lives in Sheridan with his wife, Krista, and their children.
