Scott Bateman, MD, is a highly-skilled otolaryngologist, or ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) doctor. As the founder of Sheridan Ear, Nose & Throat, Dr. Bateman has worked for more than two decades in the community of Sheridan, Wyoming, improving the health of many.

Dr. Bateman earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, receiving the prestigious G. Richard Holt Leadership Award in his final year of study. He completed his residency at the Bexar County and Audie Murphy Veterans Affairs facility in south Texas, and further refined his skills in the department of otolaryngology at UT San Antonio. While there, he served as chief resident in his final year of training.

Upon completion of his studies and hands-on training, Dr. Bateman brought his family to Sheridan, Wyoming. He, his wife, Krista, and their children enjoy strong connections within our community.

Dr. Bateman is an innovator. He was the first to bring endoscopic balloon sinus dilations to patients in Wyoming and Montana. He introduced point-of-care sinus scan imaging to Sheridan. He was a co-founder of Sheridan Surgical Center, which since 2005 has offered more options and lower costs to families in our area.
